On March 14th, we joined the national America250 initiative with a special program, “Together in Song: Songs of Democracy,” honoring our shared history through music. Dress rehearsals prior to a concert will take place at the concert venue. Rehearsals consist of warm-ups followed by practicing musical phrasing, dynamics, and correcting errors led by our Music Director Michael Slon. Singers are asked to be prepared to learn notes outside of regular rehearsal times so that the joint rehearsals can focus on making beautiful music together. For the current season the annual dues are as follows: Individual member: $100 Family (2 from the same household): $150 Student (high school, college, or grad student): $50 Membership fees must be paid in full within the first month of the season unless special arrangements are made. If an interested singer is unable to pay, for any reason, The Oratorio Society offers scholarships based on financial need.
