The Paramount Theater

From Rt 29 S and points North (Culpeper): Turn left at the intersection of Rt 29 and Barracks Road. Barracks Road becomes Rugby Road, then Preston Ave. At the intersection of Preston Ave and Ridge McIntire Road, bear right onto Ridge McIntire Road. At the light at the top of the hill, turn left onto Water Street. Go to "Once on Water Street" below.

From Route 29 N and points South (Lynchburg): From Rt 29 towards Charlottesville, follow signs for Business 29 North. Exit to the right onto Fontaine Ave. Fontaine Ave becomes Jefferson Park Ave, which merges onto Main St just past UVa Hospital. There are three traffic lights as you move east on Main St. At the third light, bear left onto Water St. Go to "Once on Water Street" below.

From US 64 W and points East (Richmond): Take US 64 towards Charlottesville. Leave I-64 at Exit 121 for Rt 20 North (Monticello Avenue). Take Monticello Avenue into the city. Turn right onto Ridge Street. At the top of the hill, take the far right turn onto Water Street. Go to "Once on Water Street" below.

From US 64 E and points West (Staunton): Take US 64 towards Charlottesville. Leave I-64 at Exit 120 for Route 631 North (Fifth Street). Follow Fifth Street into the city. Fifth Street becomes Ridge Street. At the top of the hill, take the far right turn onto Water Street. Go to "Once on Water Street" below.

Once on Water Street: Proceed down the hill, and turn right at the first light (Second Street SE). Make an immediate left into the Water Street Parking Garage. Main Street, and the Downtown Mall, is across Water Street and a block north of the garage. The Paramount Theater is on the north side of the Downtown Mall, at 215 East Main Street.
